Drumset with the MalletKat (2 octave for space) running through MainStage. Odd little show, but several fun tunes!
MalletKat through MainStage for all of the keyboards and timpani. Plenty of room in this picture, but this was a run-out at Miller Theater, the rest of the shows were in a tiny space, the MalletKat was really the only way to go!
Peter and the StarCatcher
I setup the MalletKat as a three-octave keyboard and used the fourth octave for various sound effects, and ran everything through MainStage. This show was a treat to play!
DTX for congas, etc.
Whistle Down the Wind
The band was set up in the balcony boxes for this run, hence the all-electronic setup. Drumset and small percussion were played on the TrapKat, timpani on the MalletKat. Both ran through Mainstage. I used BFD 3 for the kit sounds and Elite Orchestral Percussion for the timps. Not my favorite show, but I was able to learn some new tricks with the electronics.
